2012 -- past Super Saturday

Hey there Relief Society sisters!

We have lovingly taken pictures of all the crafts and classes being offered at this years Super Saturday -- put them here on this sweet little blog -- all to make it easier on you! We know that so many of you have callings, kids and spouses {wink} that pull you in all different directions, so finding time to stop by our FABULOUS table on Sunday is the very last thing you have time for. Now you can view the crafts in person on Sunday, or check out our blog during the week!

That being said, payment must still be made in person. We have placed envelopes on the Super Saturday table in the hallway; grab one, write your name and order on it, throw in your cash, and turn it in! Easy peasy lemon squeezey, as my oldest likes to say. Please turn in your money only to Misti Moran or Ashley Holloway so we can make sure it all goes to the right place! We are only accepting cash this year; please speak with Misti if you have any questions about payment.

DEADLINE FOR PAYMENT IS OCTOBER 21st. Missed us on Sunday? PLEASE drop it off at either Misti or Ashley's house. In order to secure the best prices, we have to place orders for our supplies ASAP. We unfortunately cannot order supplies for a craft you have signed up for if we have not received your payment.

There will be a potluck of soups, bread and drinks -- sign ups will be sent around as we get closer to the activity. We will provide all dishes, utensils, cups, etc.

ETCHED CASSEROLE DISH{ES}

          $4.00

This craft comes with a vinyl cut-out {one use only} and glass etching cream. Unless otherwise specified, we will order the vinyl to say your last name. This can be placed on the bottom of the casserole dish {which is what we did}, or along the side. YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN 9x13 GLASS BAKEWARE. There are two different fonts to choose from {1}SERIF and {2}SAN SERIF. Each order will allow you to do {1} dish. Please order the same number of this craft as the number of dishes you plan on etching.

SUBWAY ART

          $7.00

Talk about an easy craft! Buy your own frame, receive 10 prints and put them in! This craft will be a collection of 10 subway art prints {all the holiday ones}, printed as an 8x10 on matte cardstock. There are an additional 7 prints that you can order, but you will have to talk to Ashley personally {or leave a comment on the blog below} to get those printed. The cost for each additional print is $0.70. YOU WILL NEED TO BUY YOUR OWN 8x10 FRAME.

 This 8x10 I picked up at Hobby Lobby for $10. All of their easel backed frames are always 50% off.

FLOWER ACCESSORIES

          $2.00 for 6 pins

This craft will come with 6 flowers, 6 bobby pins, and E6000. When it comes to crafts do you find that you are all thumbs? This is the craft for you! All you'll need to do is glue the flowers on!

This is the style you will receive in a variety of colors.

KORKER HAIR BOWS

          $0.50 per bow

This craft will come with all supplies necessary to make these cute, bouncy, and interchangeable bows for your sweet pea or beloved granddaughter. The cost covers {1} hair clip, pre-curled ribbon for {1} solid colored bow, and all the hot glue you may need. Buy multiple colors to mix and match your own bows {BYU colored bow below would require {3} orders; {1} for each color}. We will have a limited amount of knitted hats and headbands in a variety of colors to purchase on the day of Super Saturday {cash only -- prices posted soon}. LIMIT 6 PER PERSON.

MAKING IT PRETTY CLASS

          {FREE}

Come to this class and learn how to easily take simple, everyday treats and turn it up a notch! We will provide a sweet treat {to practice your new skills}, as well as a cute way to package it up. Don't miss out on how to create a classy dessert presentation for just pennies on the dollar!! While this class is free, please sign up so we know how many treats we need to bring.

This craft has {2} options:

1.) One Sided ~ {1} 5x7 I Am a Child of God print OR {1} 5x7 antiqued temple print, unpainted wooden block {black paint and brushes provided}, and mod podge.

 2.) Two Sided ~ {1} 5x7 I Am a Child of God print AND {1} 5x7 antiqued temple print, unpainted wooden block {black paint and brushes provided}, and mod podge.

When turning in your payment, please write your COLOR choice and/or TEMPLE choice. If no color/temple is selected, the default color will be yellow and the default temple will be Salt Lake.

JINGLE ALL THE WAY BLOCK

          $13.00

This craft will come with the "jingle all the way" vinyl, bells, and a ribbon to go around the block. YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN GLASS BLOCK.

 

This glass block was $6 at Hobby Lobby during their glass sale for 50% off. It is a KraftyBlok in the ORIGINAL size and has a hole on the bottom with a plastic plug {like a piggy bank}. MAKE SURE YOU BUY A BLOCK WITH THE PLUG!! Otherwise, you will have some jingle bell problems :) 

BEADED NECKLACE

          $6.00 per necklace

This craft will come with {1} strand of beads, satin ribbon, and string. Colors: black, clear, or aqua.

  

These necklaces were made with one strand {12 large beads}. You may make this in a longer version {see below}, just order multiple strands.

NOTE: the black necklace shown has clear beads in between each large bead. The necklaces we will be making will just have knots in between each bead {like the white}. Apologies for any confusion/disappointment.

 

This necklace was made with {2} strands of beads, although you certainly have the option to make this with just {1} strand. To make a longer necklace like this, you will need to order {2 or more} strands, depending on the length you want.

GIFT TAGS

The Relief Society is graciously allowing all to make gift tags, whether it be for Christmas or everyday gifts! All materials will be provided. Feel free to stop by the table whenever the paper tag bug bites!
